School Writing & Poster Display

 

The Poster & Writing School Display is organized each year by the Guelph & District Multicultural Festival, in an effort to increase the awareness and appreciation for our cultural diversity. The cultural theme that is usually chosen is echoed in many areas of the provincial curriculum and easy to incorporate in daily lesson plans (Social & Civic study, Language Art, Multicultural Education, Art, Conflict Resolution, Anti-bully initiatives…). New for 2010 Display, is the Digital Art Category that allows Secondary School Students to include computer generated artwork. The organizing committee is very pleased to announce “Peace is…” as the theme of 2010 event and extends an invitation to ALLWellington & Dufferin County students and educators to add the presence of their school to our community showcase.
